1 package white cake mix 2 egg yolks 3/4 cup margarine or butter 1 teaspoon vanilla Walnut or pecan halves 2 egg whites 1 teaspoon water 2 tablespoons sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon |

| Mix cake mix, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla. Form into 1 inch balls. Mix egg whites and 1 teaspoon water in one bowl. Mix sugar and cinnamon in another bowl. Dip balls of dough into egg wash and then into cinnamon mixture. Place on cookie sheet and put a nut half into each cookie. Bake at 375 for 9 minutes or until very light brown. Do not over cook. Let cookies set on the cookie sheet for a few minutes to setup. Remove to a cooling rack to finish cooling. |
